Awasu 2.4.3 (16 August 2010)
Building on the work done in the previous release, the Awasu API was extended to provide full CRUD functionality for Awasu's most important elements, channels and reports.
For people using Awasu for hard-core information gathering, this programmatic control over Awasu creates some very powerful possibilities. Using channel hooks to process information as it arrives, or the Awasu API to query the archive database, the information stream can be analyzed and Awasu re-configured accordingly e.g.
- tweak the configuration of existing channels e.g. suspend some, update others more frequently.
- create new search channels, to further monitor Awasu's archived content.
- create new reports, or adjust existing ones, to publish the new information, perhaps as email reports or by updating a web page.
