If you've been keeping an eye on the betas, you would've noticed the last release included integration with Outbrain, a new online rating system. They announced this integration yesterday but instead of the usual marketing droid press release, they did a short interview with me.

Don't forget to vote it up! :-)

The third 2.3.3 alpha release [?] is now available here.

Just a few minor fixes and barring any unexplained self-combustions, this will also be the 2.3.3 beta.

I made damn sure I wouldn't repeat the misteak I made last year and prepared the birthday retrospective well in advance this time around

And while it might look like not a lot happened, there was actually an enormous amount of work done under the hood, making Awasu run faster and better, but it's unfortunately something that doesn't lend itself to snazzy screenshots nor marketing hyperbole. But if you drag out an old version of Awasu (as I often have to do, for testing), you'll be amazed at how much slicker the current version is.

We also continued on with our mission to make it easier to manage the flood of incoming information with feed item filters (that highlight items of interest), unlimited channel filters, workpads and reports, and of course, ad blocking

The exact date of our birthday is a bit vague but in the past, I've taken it to be February 8, when Awasu 1.0 was released but as you can see from the release list, there were quite a few beta releases before that. But I might bump it up a few days since it would be just insanely cool to share a birthday with this gentleman

There're still an awful lot of things left on the To-Do List and no shortage of even more feature requests coming in (hi Sue  ) so it's going to be a busy year.

Isn't it always... :whip:
