First, we need to go to Google and create a Custom Search Engine, that will provide us with search results (requires a Google account).

• Google will ask you to specify what web sites you want to search. We will change this later to do a full web search, but what you enter here will be emphasized in your search results.
• Give your CSE a name, then click on Create.

• After Google has finished creating your CSE, click on Control Panel to update its configuration.
• Change the CSE to "Search the entire web but emphasize included sites".
  If it's useful to you, tweak the emphasized sites.

• Finally, click on Search engine ID to get your CSE's ID.
• Take a copy of this ID; we will need to configure it in the Awasu plugin.

Next, we need to get an API key, that will give the plugin access to Google's search service.

• Click on Create Project and give your new project and name and ID.

• Click through to your new project, click on APIs & auth in the navbar on the left, then Credentials.
  
  Then click on Create new key. When Google asks you what type of key you want, click on Server key.
• Google will then ask you to configure any server API addresses - nothing is required here, so just click Create.

• Once Google has finished creating the API key, take a copy of its ID; we will need to configure it in the Awasu plugin.

• Finally, go to the APIs page, scroll down to "Custom Search API", and turn on access (by clicking the OFF button).
  You should now see the "Custom Search API" in the list of enabled API's at the top of the page.

When you first create a channel using this plugin, go to its Global settings page and enter the CSE ID and API key you created above.

You will only need to do this once.
