Help Not Working

Whenever I click Help in Awasu, I get an "Action Cancelled" Internet Explorer error. I can get to the index, but every selection comes up with this same error. Anyone know what's going on? (PS If I go to this Awasu website and go to the online help, it comes up just fine).

I'm not sure what the problem is but if you go to the main help page, you will see a link that you can use to download the Awasu help file onto your computer (the CHM version). This is a better since not only will you not have to be online to use it but it is also searchable.

Where did you save the file? It must be in the Awasu installation directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Awasu. When this is file is there, Awasu will open it instead of going to the online web version.

Nope... the .chm when downloaded to the c:\Program Files\Awasu directory does NOT work.

The explorer area shows the sections, the documents are listed and the error is "Action Cancelled" in the right-hand window.

That's really weird.

What happens if you just run the CHM by itself? Exit Awasu, open Explorer, browse to the installation directory and double-click on the CHM file start it.

What version of Windows are you running (and if it's XP, what service pack?)?

Closing Awasu and opening the .chm on its own gives the exact same result: "Action Canceled"

Running XP SP2

Yes... the downloaded file needed to be "unblocked" in the Properties window.
