I have been quite happy running 2.4 for some time, but on last boot up of my Vista system have the "missing data files version" message.

Any ideas around this?

Regards

This could happen if your CONFIG.INI file has been corrupted e.g. because Awasu or Windows crashed while it was being written out.

Open it up in Notepad, and search for a line that starts with Version=. You probably won't find it, but if you do, set it so it says Version=2.4. Otherwise find the line that says [System] and add it directly afterwards. If you can't find that either, just add it to the end of the file.

The end result is somewhere in the file, you want something that looks like this:

Code: Select all

[System]
Version=2.4
