The following channel feed started failing a couple of days ago:

http://feeds.arstechnica.com/arstechnica/index

The Awasu logs show the following error:

05jun10 11:00:51 Ars Technica error: Can't update the channel.
- XML parse failed (11:L350:C79): undefined entity

However, the NewsRoom for Android app handles it w/o any errors.

There's a character encoding problem with one of the feed items. When you posted it was on line 350 (L350:C79) now it's on line 434. In a couple of hours/days it'll probably drop out of the RSS file althogether and the feed will work again.

It's already moved down to line 485 out of the around 1100 lines.

The title of the invalid feed item is:
The secret sex lives of crickets, now with 24/7 video
