I just spotted this thread whilst browsing the forums and have a solution. It only applies to UK (United Kingdom) and some other non-US users.
This relates to the RSS feeds at the following "URL:
RSS Feed Product Index
Firstly the problem *is* with the feeds page. There is a localisation issue which means the feeds' URLs presented (if you are in the UK or some other places) only ever return BLANK content.
HERE'S HOW TO FIX IT:
Click on your product of interest. Let's take "Office 2003".
If you are in the UK, the URL provided is
In the above URL, the red part is fine, but we need to add -us
instead of the -gb&msid=**********" That is, just make the URL end with en-us
So, the correct URL looks like this:
Now the recent Microsoft knowledgebase articles are returned in the browser and Awasu once the channel is set up.
Do this same trick (make it end en-us) for which ever product you are interested in.
I have reported this to Microsoft and they are aware of the issue.
