Problem to use in portable mode and how change toolbar fonts

Post by jose_rsh » Mon May 12, 2008 3:26 am

I downloaded the 2.3.3 version and create the file "portable" in installation directory to use as a portable but don´t function, always create and use the files under default directories in User Profiles .How is the exact file name for use in portable mode?

Another question, how can I change the fonts used in the toolbar?I used all styles but the fonts don´t change,I don´t like it.They are diferent from version 2.3
Thankyou.

It's .PORTABLE, with a dot at the beginning. Sorry, it's my UNIX background showing

You mean for the tooltips? You can change this stuff via the Display Properties control panel applet in Windows (Appearance tab). You will also need to set a debug switch in Awasu.

But in Windows is imposible to create .PORTABLE file because don´t acept file whitout the name part of the file(before the dot)
How can I solve it?

The latest beta will also check for a _PORTABLE file (underscore, not a dot).

If you're not running this version, Windows does let you create a .PORTABLE file, it just makes it difficult. You can run Notepad and save a file under that name (it doesn't matter what's in it).
