hello everyone,
i have been downloading feeds using awasu for over a year now from different news websites, i have over 15000 feed items currently in the awasu database and the main purpose of me starting this from the beginning is to make a kind of library of news from the sources i have been downloading from.
i was wondering if its possible to transfer those feed items into a CMS like maybe wordpress or joomla. please help

Re: help transfering downloaded feeds to a CMS platform
Most CMS's have an API for creating content, so it should be possible.
If this is a one-off thing, you could use Awasu's API to extract your feed content, then push it into the CMS.
If you want to do it on an on-going basis, you would want to write a channel hook, which is a little program that Awasu calls every time a new feed item arrives, and it would push it into the CMS.
If you're a programmer, or can get someone, it should be a straight-forward job. Otherwise, shoot us an email (support@awasu.com) and I'll put together a quote for you.
