Monitoring a web page

Post by J'r » Tue Sep 15, 2015 4:26 am

I would like to set up an RSS feed to be informed when new job listings are posted at this link

http://www.unaids.org/en/aboutunaids/va ... /vacancies

Can you kindly provide me with some easy-to-understand steps on how this can be done?

Thanks

You need to scrape the page (that is, write a little program that checks the page and extracts the information you're interested in) and convert the results into an RSS feed.

Awasu has a plugin that can do this, although you need to be fairly technical to use it. And while it still works, it was written by one of our users and the guy no longer supports it.

We have another version that was written by us (and so is supported), and while you also need some technical chops to set it up, we can do it for you, for a nominal fee. Shoot us an email if you want to talk about this.
