This is probably a corruption in the search index. Unfortunately, it happens sometimes, usually because Awasu or Windows crashed.

Open the About box (from the Help menu), go to the System tab, click on the "Local data" button - an Explorer window should open. Close Awasu, then delete the Index sub-directory. Then restart Awasu.

If you don't use the search feature, you can disable it (Program Options, Advanced tab), and this will make Awasu run much faster.

I had the same problem and I turned off the search feature as instructed and it works again. Thank you
