That's what I like to see: users answering their own questions before I even get a chance to see them :-)

I'll add that to the documentation. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Stretching Your Todo List

Rather than presenting the full web page, being able to download a text only version might help those who have limited bandwidth. It is not possible to provide this feature beyond what is available already i.e. each channel's summary page. RSS feed providers are supposed to provide a brief descript...

Re: New set of suggestions

The option is "Listen for" which doesn't mean anything to a non-techie. If it said "enable new feed add when you click this icon would help, it would also be good if you could get it to listen for anyone clicking on any rss feed. Good point. Sometimes it's hard to think like a non-programmer In you...

Are you running on NT4? We've had some problems in the past with this. Delete or rename BlackBox.dll in the installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Awasu) and that should fix it.

For rss-feeds: in Klipfolio you open an existing .klip file, alter some lines (title, url,...), save it under a new name, and... there's your NEW KLIP:) Open and run in Klipfolio just like any other. I think in Awasu it's somewhat more complicated. I've run Serence but haven't tried modifying klips...

About the plugins: I tried to open the file SamplePythonChannel.py via New Channel (as explained in the help file), and after clicking Next, I got: No application is registered for this file type: .py. ?? Files that end in .py are programs written in a programming language called Python. To run the...

Re: Suggestions

1. I'd love a POP3-mailchecker as a plugin, with sender and subject in the notification balloon, clickable (to open a preview or your mail client). I've seen something similar in another rss-newsfeeder, called wTicker. This is such a cool idea! I'll add it to my ever-expanding to-do list Actually, ...

What kind of things would you like to see? I have quite a number of new features in mind but suggestions from users are very welcome. It gives us an idea of what's important and what to do first.

Re: Update interval

Although it's possible to fill in different intervals, like is noted in the tool tip, less than 1 hour is not supported in the 'personal edition' of Awasu. Why is that? Thanks for the feedback. There are a few reasons for this. One is bandwidth usage. Right now, RSS is not very widely used but this...
