Feeds that are downloaded for offline reading, are they added to the archive index? What about the search index?

We have plans to allow indexing of linked-to articles, even if the content is not in the feed

That would be an incredibly powerful feature! Searching Awasu's index is great, but leaves me wondering what I'm missing. I would definitely pay more for that functionality. Keep up the great work.

Awasu Search vs. Technorati & Google

This is a question about how Awasu's search differs from blog search engines. It assumes that some bloggers publish full feeds, some publish feeds with snippets (partial content), and some publish titles only. Please let me know if I've got each of these statements right: 1) Awasu can index whatever...

I had set the username and password before when I got the rc=2 error in the sendemailhook log. I removed username and password, and am now getting an rc=1 error. What do these errors mean? Still no email. :?

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm having trouble with the sendemailhook, too. I've got it set up on a feed that gets updated many times a day, and the feed is set up to update daily. The global setting on the sendemailhook are set up as smtp.rcn.com (rcn is my ISP). I got this error in the ...

Ok. I bought the pro version and love it. To anyone considering a trial, it's amazing. Now I've got an unusual circumstance I was hoping to get some help with. The pro version is on both my desktop and laptop. Since it's likely that I'll be running both at the same time (and don't need to buy 2 lice...

Is mine corrupted, too? Thanks for the help.

Validation Error: 403, But Works w/ Other Readers

I'm trying to add a feed and getting some trouble. When adding the feed, I got a little warning that of a 403 forbidden error but was allowed to continue. When Awasu tries to update, it returns a 403 error, and there is no update. I went to validate the feed, and feedvalidator.org gave the same erro...

For anyone that read this thread, here's an update: Awasu's support was nothing short of phenomenal. Responses were lucid and timely, despite the fact that we are on opposite sides of the planet. After trying many different approaches, it was determined that the problem was specific to me and my hos...

Thanks so much for the help as always. This feature is really important to me and if it works smoothly is reason enough to get the pro edition. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help diagnose the issue.

Using the same user name and password I'm able to upload the same file to the same directory using WS_FTP, either over writing the 0kb file Awasu made or creating a new file. I was able to do the same thing using Internet Explorer as the FTP client. Then I checked to see if Awasu would over write th...

Thanks for the help - I set it up as you indicated but am still having problems. Now instead of getting the error immeadiately like before, it takes about 20 seconds and then gives the same error: Background Job Error Can't open the remote file: /folder/report-name.html However, this time it creates...

FTP Channel Report: Background Job Error

I just installed the trial pro edition and am trying to FTP a channel report. I keep getting an error that says 'Background job error: Can't open the remote file [whatever I put in the URL field]' I think I'm able to connect, because if I put in a bad password, I get a different error about not bein...
