Major new features
Added a user interface to manage entries in the Tools menu. Click on the
More info button for details on how
to integrate Awasu with your blog.
The item pane can now be placed on any edge of the channel window. The default
setting can be changed in the Display page of the Program Options and overridden
for individual channels in the Channel Properties dialog.
Added extra buttons to the navbars. There is a new option in the Display page
of the Program Options to remove these buttons if you don't like the clutter.
Minor features and bug fixes
Holding down the SHIFT key when opening feed items from the item pane will
open the item in an external browser window.
Added a new channel option to automatically mark all items as read when
the window is closed.
Stopped trying to automatically resize the item pane since it sometimes
produced unexpected results (i.e. not what the user wanted/expected).
Added a (debug) switch to double-decode SGML entities for those feeds that need it.
Make sure that the channel has been updated at least once using this new release
and then exit Awasu. Open the channel's config file and set the AdditionalSgmlEntityDecoding
parameter to 1.
Really fixed the problem of changes not being saved properly in property lists
if RETURN was not pressed before closing the dialog.
Removed the blank space that was appearing underneath navbars in channel windows.
Fixed a problem with editable list boxes not working properly in the 98/Me version.
Fixed a problem where Awasu sometimes couldn't create the user home directory
when being first run under Windows 98/Me.
